Finance Administrator

Description of the Position.

At SIAB Global, our customers are at the core of everything we do, and we’re committed to providing them with top-notch service. In support of this goal, we’re searching for a Finance Administrator who is passionate about accounting, finance, and budgetary functions.

Our Finance Administrator will:

  • Maintain and reconcile the company ledger, invoices, and credit card statements.
  • Prepare and adjust finance journal entries as required.
  • Support the annual financial audit process.
  • Administer payroll activities.
  • Oversee vendor payments.
  • Maintain financial records and files.
  • Assist in setting and managing budgets.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
  • Manage all bill payments and invoicing as per the deadlines.
  • Streamline processes and procedures for improving operational efficiency of finance reporting and budgeting systems.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of financial documents and transactions.
  • Create budget plans, rationalize expenditures and investments, and manage cash flow (accounts receivable/accounts payable).
  • Regularly generate and present reports to keep senior management updated about company financial health and strategies.
  • Prepare tax documents for timely filing.
  • Take ownership over the quality and results of the work and make an effort to improve.
  • Work with a highly driven team that is supportive, collaborative, and dedicated to excellence in every aspect of the business.
  • At times, take on special long or short-term projects.

This Finance Administrator opportunity is a permanent full-time employee position, which will be paid a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

No travel is required.

Finance Administrator Qualifications.

  • Experience in accounting, financial analysis, budget planning, or payroll management.
  • Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless data input skills.
  • Can perform role without supervision or outside help.
  • Proven ability to manage projects to timely completion and meeting expected objectives.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability.
  • Ability maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

Other Requirements.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other related fields, and a minimum two (2) years of work experience in a finance or accounting related role.
  • Preference to candidates with postgraduate education or training, such as MBAs or a CPA license.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, upbeat, professional attitude.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Eagerness and ability to identify administrative and procedural challenges and suggest corresponding solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
