Fulfillment Manager

Description of the Position.

At SIAB Global, our customers are at the core of everything we do, and we’re committed to providing them with top-notch service. We’re searching for a Fulfillment Manager who is passionate about supervising a team to get orders to customers as timely, efficiently, and accurately as possible.

Our Fulfillment Manager must lead by example so the ideal candidate must be capable of doing and training all functions of a Fulfillment Associate. Fulfillment Associates must:

  • Fulfill customer orders from our warehouse.
  • Boxing or poly bagging apparel and accessory items.
  • Picking items from warehouse shelves or racking.
  • Folding boxes to prepare for order picking.
  • Prepare shipping related documentation, including labels, packing lists, and maintain records in the shipping log.
  • Verify orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Quality checking orders for customer shipments.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and follow-up with the Fulfillment Manager and other staff to ensure orders are picked up, shipped, and delivered on-time.
  • Inventorying products upon delivery from suppliers and assist in the inventory count procedure.
  • Assist with general warehouse and office tasks as needed.
  • Take ownership over the quality of the work and make an effort to improve.
  • Strive to exceed volume and quality goals.

In addition, as Fulfillment Manager, you must:

  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing and order fulfillment by following operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Help provide a safe and welcoming work environment.
  • Modify fulfillment team members’ schedules to improve productivity and control overtime.
  • Communicate in a professional manner.
  • Minimizes inventory discrepancies and reconcile with system data.
  • Plan for future capacity and storage requirements.
  • Coordinate with senior management regarding storage and/or fulfillment concerns.
  • Build a cross-trained team by training employees in all areas so they are diversified in their skills.
  • Develop fulfillment staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Ensure proper levels of shipping and warehouse supplies at all times.
  • Ensure employee hours, attendance, productivity and quality are being properly documented.
  • Provide input into performance evaluations for recommending promotions, wage increases, associate development and terminations.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Act as liaison between warehouse employees and management.
  • Work with a highly driven team that is supportive, collaborative, and dedicated to excellence in every aspect of the business.
  • At times, take on special long or short-term projects.

This Fulfillment Manager opportunity is a permanent, full-time employee position, which will be paid a competitive hourly wage.

No travel is required.

Fulfillment Manager Qualifications.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Candidates must have a High School diploma (or equivalent) or prior work experience in a fulfillment, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, upbeat, professional attitude.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Eagerness and ability to identify administrative and procedural challenges and suggest corresponding solutions.
  • Proficient communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.

Other Requirements.

  • Available to work during business hours Monday to Friday, and evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • The ability to operate a pallet jack.
  • Experience in operating a forklift is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
